Gaming and Learning

An award winning game developer, I stumbled upon game development in late 90s when a faculty at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, asked for a card game to be programmed for fun learning electronically at the first laptop university in the world. Since the request came in for more learning games, I decided to recode it modularly and built it into a learning game engine for hosting more learning contents in various disciplines. I released the first Flash Learning Game engine at a presentation at Educause in 2002 and received resounding responses from across the country.

Later in Tennessee, I continued the game development for Southern Adventist University and led the campus to be recognized as a Top Technology Innovator 2006 award by Campus Technology, sharing the honor with the University of North Carolina Greensboro in the interactive gaming category. Later that year, I received the game programming award from the Guide Magazine for Bible Games development.
