Since 2007, Dr. Dan Lim is the Vice President for Educational Technology and Distance Learning at the Adventist University of Health Sciences, in Orlando, Florida, responsible for all instructional-related technology implementation and integration, medical simulations, and online education.
Previously, Dr. Lim was the Dean of Academic Technology at the Southern Adventist University (SAU) in Collegedale, Tennessee, where he continued R&D on interactive academic gaming which led the campus to be recognized as one of the Campus Technology Magazine’s 16 Technology Innovators in the nation in 2006. He founded SAU Online Campus in 2006. Prior to SAU, he was the Director of Instructional Technology Center and faculty in Information Technology Management at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, the nation’s first laptop campus. Seven years at UMC gave him numerous opportunities to research and innovate in technology and learning.
